Peg and Chris have been friends for many, many years and have enjoyed doing various projects during that time.  It became clear that we both enjoyed working with wood and  worked well together.  In 2007 we began creating some intarsia items and the idea of starting a business began to form.  After much thought, the name "Two Women and a Saw" was adopted.

Chris is a records administrator at a local non-profit agency.  Her attention to detail serves her well at her day job and helps her to create wonderful intarsia products.  Chris' computer skills and organizational abilities are great assets for "Two Women and a Saw."  Chris lives in Randleman, North Carolina.

Peg is a mental health therapist by day but it is intarsia that feeds her soul.  She has no problem spending 12 hours or more in the shop on days she is home.  While all woodworking has interested her, she says creating intarsia "just feels right."  Peg lives in Brown Summit, North Carolina.
